Every summer, right before wine harvest gets rolling, we invite our local winemaker friends to the brewery to help blend our annual Anniversary Ale. Winemakers are practicing experts in the art of blending, and we realized early on that they could provide invaluable input for creating a seamless beer from numerous barrel-aged component ales.
The winemakers come for both the challenge and the camaraderie. They split up into small teams and create their own preferred blends from the provided components. For the second year, we're offering Club members to come to learn about these beers and participate in a mock blending workshop, much like the winemakers do. The event will consist of two parts:
Sensory Tasting & Pairing Seminar (2:30 PM)
Break 4PM - Shop the Barrel Room Pop-up Shop (all members receive 25% off beer and merchandise during event)
Blending Workshop (5:00 PM)
If termination of event is due to unforeseeable circumstances that are beyond either party’s control (weather-related incidents, disasters, government regulation/shut-downs, pandemic, or other emergency) making it inadvisable, illegal or impossible to provide event execution then neither party will be held liable for payment or event execution.It is provided that this agreement may be terminated for any one or more of such reasons by written notice from one party to the other. No reimbursement for travel or lodging expenses will be issued.
Members may purchase one Club Member ticket and one additional guest ticket. Club member tickets cannot be transferred to any other individual and require a membership card at check-in. Any additional tickets or transactions will be canceled and refunded.
Must be over 21 years of age and show proof of current government ID.
